If it’s a tablet you’re after with the power and versatility of a laptop, but without the cost, look no further than the Surface 3.

The Microsoft Surface 3

Microsoft’s innovative new tablet is light on weight at just 622g and light on the pocket.

It has one of the thinnest, high-resolution screens for its 10.8- inch display to-date, measuring only 8.7mm thin and comes with a host of features like the three-position kickstand and multiple ports (full-size USB 3.0 port, mini DisplayPort, microUSB ports and micoSC card slot) and you can add accessories like the click-in, magnetic cover that doubles as a keyboard with trackpad, a pen for on-screen writing and a docking station.

Running Windows 8.1 on a fast Intel Atom x7 processor, the device has up to 10 hours of battery life.
