Sony has taken its popular Z2 smartphone and improved on it in almost every way.

It’s thinner and lighter, at 7.3mm and 152g respectively, performance has beefed up with a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, and it’s a little more durable thanks to the IP65/68 rating.

The same 5.2-inch 1080p display has been tweaked with a contrast enhancing technology that improves its visibility in the sun, and the Battery STAMINA mode helps extend battery life to up to two days between charges.

Sony has also souped up the camera, music playback and gaming capabilities; the new multi-camera mode wirelessly pairs the Z3 with other smartphones so you can see both viewfinders on the screen.
