When it comes to a powerful but lightweight ultrabook, it’s hard to beat the ASUS Zenbook UX305 range.

Ideal for working on the go, it measures only 12.3mm thin and 1.2kg and is one of the lightest laptops in its class and is far from flimsy with a strong and durable all-aluminium case. The 13.3- inch matte screen, spacious keyboard and responsive touchpad – with gesture options for fast, easy control – deliver a quality feel, although the keyboard does lack a backlight.

The entry model comes with an Intel Core M processor, backed with 4GB of RAM, a single micro HDMI output, SD card reader, and three USB 3.0 ports for super-fast transfers. All in all, with the added bonus of 9 hours of battery life, Zenbook UX305 has a surprisingly low price tag.
