ABS Façade’s co-founder and logistics coordinator, Jack Vanderglas, says the business’ strong growth comes down to their knack for creating impressive aesthetics through quality design:
“Within our business we strive to solve our clients’ issues by introducing a product that is made from durable, reliable, quality material,” he said.
The business also took home the 2017 Telstra Australian Capital Territory Medium Business Award.
Celebrating their 25th year, the Telstra Business Awards showcase the achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of Australia’s best small and medium businesses (SMBs) and more recently, charities as well.
Telstra Director, Branded Channels, Mike Tregurtha, said the winners of the 2017 Telstra ACT Business Awards demonstrate what it takes to become ‘that’ business – a leader in their field, a name that is trusted and admired and an organisation that inspires others.
“The ACT winners all display a willingness to take risks, embrace innovation and think creatively about the long-termism of their business, successfully challenging their respective industry norms as a result,” he said.
“ABS Façade’s unique point of difference lies in its development of industry-first techniques and products, which have enabled the business to constantly stay ahead of the curve. It’s this level of innovation that has undoubtedly contributed to them becoming one of Australia’s only fabrication companies with a nationwide presence.”
Other businesses recognised at the 2017 Telstra Australian Capital Territory Business Awards were:

- Capital Chemist Wanniassa, an extended-hours health hub and pharmacy, won the 2017 Telstra Australian Capital Territory Small Business Award
